The Problem
Small and medium-sized businesses struggled to establish an online presence due to the high cost and complexity of building individual e-commerce websites. They needed an affordable platform to reach customers online without technical expertise.
My Approach
Built a scalable multi-vendor marketplace using Next.js and Node.js with separate vendor dashboards for inventory management, order processing, and analytics. Implemented secure payment gateway integration, automated order routing to vendors, real-time inventory tracking, and a responsive customer-facing storefront with advanced search and filtering capabilities.
The Result
Successfully onboarded 150+ vendors in the first 6 months, processed over $500K in transactions, and achieved 98% customer satisfaction rate. The platform reduced vendor setup time from weeks to hours and provided 24/7 secure shopping with free shipping on orders over $100.
